Massage treatments offered at SportsMed Subiaco:

      • Swedish Massage:
This is a gentle form of massage that uses long strokes, kneading, deep circular movements, vibration and tapping to help relax and energize you. A great way to help the body and the mind relax and unwind.
      • Deep Tissue Massage:
This massage technique focuses on specific areas of complaint, using slower, firmer strokes to target the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. Great for pain relief and enhancing range of movement.
      • Trigger Point Massage:
Massage focuses on areas of tight bands of muscle fibres or nodules that can form in muscles anywhere in the body. They frequently develop as a result of overtraining, injury or poor posture.

Before your first massage, your therapist will conduct a thorough history to identify any trouble areas and to determine the goals of your treatment.
