I saw Hugh for a running related injury and the service was outstanding. I was able to book in at short notice, where Hugh was knowledgeable, friendly, and very understanding of my injury and my goals. Sportsmed were able to refer me for an MRI and supported with prompt booking of appointments and called promptly after results were received to discuss the next actions. Hugh was also available for follow up to support recovery plans. I cannot speak highly enough of Hugh and the SportsMed service.

I saw Dr Monica Zheng about my hip pain she was extremely nice and very thorough and took the time to explain everything to me. She has organised a scan and some anti inflammatories then a plan from there. I was so impressed. My friend has also seen her and said exactly the same. Thank you so much. Sports mec Subiaco is fantastic and I’ve been coming here for years.

I was having the worst day and I accidentally showed up a week early to this appointment and Dr. Rzepecki was just leaving for the evening but he insisted on fitting me in. It’s clear that he loves his job and takes extra care, and the receptionists were also lovely. The experience really cheered me up.

Bec Forster is an outstanding physiotherapist. I came to Bec after sustaining an MCL knee injury overseas, having lost a lot of muscle tone, become deconditioned, been unsteady on my left leg, and unable to run. She immediately put an impeccable care plan in place, including MRI and sports physician referrals, and a parallel rehab program while we sought surgical opinion for my knee. Within six weeks of her tailored, targeted rehab my injured knee, both legs and my upper body, and my overall fitness were visibly and functionally transformed — I’m now running again and have rebuilt muscles and noticeably stronger. She applies evidence-based exercises tailored to both my clinical and personal goals. Sessions are challenging and a lot of fun; she is always attentive and quick to adapt exercises depending on how I’m feeling physically that day. She’s caring but pushes me to exceed my own expectations. The occasional knee pain I had before rehab has now subsided. Nothing is ever out of reach with her support, including an after-rehab exercise program I can continue independently — she exceeds every expectation, every time. I am so grateful for Bec’s excellent care and skills. Professional, highly experienced and intelligent, high-energy, and results-driven — she’s the best and highly recommended.

Dr. Tahnee Bell is a credit to herself & to the clinic 😊 Her knowledge & demeanour are second to none, a comprehensive explanation of my knee issues (post ACL recon & meniscectomy) as well as a cortisone injection have helped me back on track in my powerlifting training. There’s never any pressure to rebook, but you always feel welcome to revisit when necessary. A genuine thank you 🌟
