Sport & Exercise Medicine Registrar
Dr Tahnee Bell is a Sport and Exercise Medicine registrar who grew up in the South West of Western Australia. She graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2019 and completed her internship at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, followed by experience across multiple WA hospitals in orthopaedics, emergency medicine and general medicine. A former state netball player, she developed an early passion for Sport and Exercise Medicine and is currently undertaking specialist training towards Fellowship of the Australasian College of Sport and Exercise Physicians (ACSEP).
Tahnee is currently the team doctor for the Perth Wildcats (NBL) and has previously served as Head Doctor for the West Coast Eagles AFLW and Western Force Super W. She has provided match-day medical support for the Australian Diamonds, Matildas and Hockeyroos, and was Head Doctor for the inaugural Australian women’s national futsal team during international competition in Uzbekistan. She has also been the WA registrar representative within ACSEP.
She is a strong advocate for exercise as medicine and preventative health, working collaboratively with patients and healthcare providers to optimise health and performance across all populations.
